Protest against the arrest of the Kanchi Shankaracharyas

The Tamil Nadu unit of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), which is being suppressed by Jayalalithaa’s police, will conduct a one-day Hindu protection conference on February 6 in the city to protest against the arrest of the Kanchi Shankaracharyas. The conference is a continuation of the campaign launched by VHP and other Hindu organization to protest the arrest of the Kanchi seers, VHP international vice-president S. Vedantam said.
