Chennai, Feb 5: The same J who now says that Rs. 5 lakhs were paid from the CM's relief fund to Shankaraman’s family as they are in poverty, did not render help to RSS secretary Murugesan who was killed 2 years ago in Kovai, said BJP State Secretary H. Raja .

In connection with this, he released the following statement: "When Murugesan was killed by terrorists, I asked the Chief Minister twice in the Assembly to give Rs 2 lakhs to Murugesan's family, who were suffering in dire poverty. But the funds were never allocated.

In the Sankararaman murder case, just one day before the identification parade, Rs 5 lakhs were given to Shankaraman’s wife. This creates suspicion whether this is a bribe given to encourage the witness to support the Government's case.

Moreover, by submitting a petition to the High Court that the Sankara Math is not a temple, the Tamil Nadu Government has willfully wounded Hindus' sentiments.
