Hindu Conference of Canada's Press Release:
1.Dravidian political groups are making good on their goal to destroy and denigrate minority segments of Hindu society much like what the Nazis did with the Jews.
2.The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has been charged in 12 major corruption cases and has used the state apparatus to incarcerate political opponents and silence the opposition.
3.The Chief Minister has managed to destroy a 2500 year old institution of culture and heritage within two months, something that foreign invaders had failed to do over several centuries.
4.The state police have been accused of using torture to extract false confessional statements, and are being led by a superintendent who has demonstrated utter disregard for human rights and the rule of law.
5.The media is controlled by the Dravidian political groups, and the police and judiciary are controlled by the Chief Minister. Protesters are denied their democratic rights to protest and individuals are incarcerated without evidence and denied their basic right to a free and fair trial.
On Republic Day, tell the representatives of the government of India that enough is enough!
